As many of you who've been around the forums for a while know, I have a love of photography and actually find beauty in decay and ruin. I try to steer clear of portraits and people, and if I do photograph someone, I do my best to catch them in a candid moment which I find most appealing.

Anyway a few years back I invested a small chunk of $$ in a Nikon D series DSLR and have accumulated thousands of photos along my way.

I'll share some in the forum over the next few weeks. Here's a teaser. I shot this while on holiday with my wife in Colorado this past September.

I could fill my office at work with an art gallery and swap them out weekly.

Nice pictures!  :)

I love going out and taking pics of nature and posting them on Facebook.  I don't own a camera....I just use my cell phone. But the camera on my phone works great, and I have taken some really awesome pics with cell phones over the years.  :)

Having good equipment is helpful, but knowing how to use what you have and having an eye for creativity sure helps the most.

Nice work Navy! :love3:

I like candid shots of people too. Here's one I caught of my daughter without her expecting and another I love despite the poor quality. :love3:1982258_10203464689448886_4808800664773153024_n.jpg 12031377_10207680543322598_3881412772607533805_o.jpg

yep... all grown up now and no time for her old man...  but I'm okay with it, she is a good kid for sure.
