By chance, did you get to see any of the waterfalls along the Columbia River, especially the Multnomah falls? I remember seeing them when I was in Oregon/Washington in the early 90's.

NICE shotz, LOVE the shrooms!!! looks like so much enjoymentJust got back from a three day staff trip to the Columbia River Gorge ... Here are a couple of pics:

Re: mushrooms - it's amazing how many you find once you know what to look for! Those chanterelles (the yellow ones) were everywhere, and the lobster mushrooms (the orange/red ones) were pretty easy to spot.

There are far too many pictures of the trip to post here (I'll let Davy's photo-montages stand in tribute to him), so here's a link to a web presentation of them. I've enabled the geo-tracking so you can see where they were taken. Keep in mind all of the pics are here in un-edited form. There are several that need some work, and a couple that just need to get tossed.
Anyway, it was a fun trip. Exhausting, but fun. Oh - can you figure out the theme to the trip? Could it be .... WINE??? (you see we're even carrying glasses in one of the vineyards!!!!).
