Merrilee Rush and I went to the same high school. Just a few years apart though!
I remember balance walking the boards of the back yard play ground and sand box of my baby sitter's home as a very small boy singing this and "Downtown" back when they were on the radio. I was probably five. The baby sitter would put her white electric radio in the basement window and lay out in the sun while the kids all played. What a flash back. LOL

My toy arrived yesterday ... took me a day to google the first problem I had that surprisingly wasn't covered in any of the Youtube videos I'd watched. Turning on the gimbal made it dance. Vibrations and shaking hard enough that I thought it might tip over. Google came up with PLENTY of people with the same problem, and the consensus was that an 'autotune' was in order. This is a step all the videos said to take after balancing, not just after turning on! Worked like a charm though, so my 'Fuck, will have to send it back' flashes have left my head. I'm having trouble balancing it with my 70-210 Minolta 'beercan' lens though. Will have to practice, or just go with my smaller lenses
It's very sexy. And people weren't kidding, it's VERY heavy. I'm glad I bought both a strap and a connector to turn it into a two handed affair. Would still like the assistant though ...
Can't wait to see some before and afters! And of course those surf snaps!

You should tell him you need a referral to a new primary care physician. When he asks why, just say "So you don't have to violate your ethical responsibilities when you find me hiding in your bedroom". Of course, you'd need to follow through. At least once.
He called me out on my gawking so I'm afraid of his litigiousness! But I still gawk for the only rise I can get out of him. 
On a tangent, I had my white blood count take a very serious dive while sick recently and so he had me come back for another blood draw this past week. Since it was just a lab visit, it was hilarious when I passed him in the hallway and bent over dramatically to get that clear view. Really, he is a stunner.

I have fond memories of the 70's and early to mid 80's. Ah, the days when you'd just go to the doctor and say, "I think I need another penicillin shot". Why I have them check for STD's these days, I don't know. My hand isn't giving me any diseases :(
Oh if you saw MY hunk of luscious doctor you'd understand immediately why I ask...just to see his face! He has the most gorgeously devilish grin. Of course he knows me well enough now that he just purrs about it. Wish it was ethical to tip him but NO...he's so ethical. GOD.

It's too violent for me. Well made, and the actors are fairly decent though.
Same for me here, and the violence, though well meant, was a bit over the top. I guess the director thought if they didn't play it up enough the actual assault with intent to kill would not be as believable. I thought for a small group short film, it was better made than several others, especially the make up and the VERY powerful message about the role and impact of STUPID hatred in parenting. I tried to engage a thread on "developmental homophobia" concerns once and got "barked" at by Pastol, so when I saw this I immediately thought of him. Miss him here so much.
