#241817 Only in a JEEP! and more kewl music videos!

Paul McCartney's "Pipes of Peace" reminded me of a number by my most favorite group Celtic Thunder.  It has been written that an unofficial truce did happen like this in the no-man's land between the trenches on Christmas Eve 1915.

As can be seen this damn link didn't work.  I don't understand Tyler's updated input screen.  Had no trouble with the old one.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I tried this with the [dohtml] etc but it didn't work

Thanks, Scott.  HNY to ALL!!!!!

I would really like to meet Little Scotty.  Can you bring him to Florida?  Want me to pay your way?  Yes, you can cum if you want.  Wouldn't want him to arrive in a doggy-bag. :bumblebee2:

#241134 Recipes

Posted by grannymede on 23 November 2014 - 04:24 PM

Cat: I've had good luck with a Cornish hen in a crock pot.  I spray the bottom with Pam and put the hen breast up.  One time I poured some chicken broth over it, another time canned chicken gravy.  Some web recipes say cook 4 or 5 hours but my oval-shaped pot gets it done in about 2 hours or less.  Check the breast with a fork for tenderness.

If you like white turkey meat you can buy small breasts.  They would probably cook rather fast in a crock pot.

The beauty of a crock pot to me is that I don't have to empty my range oven of all the pots and pans I store there.

Don't ask me down under what!  :)

#240674 And how was your day???

Posted by grannymede on 17 October 2014 - 11:57 AM

Thanks for the good thoughts, guys!

Scott, I did get some relief from an AT&T (mistyped AA&T in the original posting) rep yesterday evening.  He's a neighbor :) of yours, said he was in Canton.  Anything was better than the Asians I dealt with earlier.  He posted a $17.25 credit to my account.

If you can manage it, kiss Little Scotty for me.  :wub2:

This is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

If your urologist is not young and cute, be sure he does not put his hands on your shoulders when he examines you.

Old, but still true.

In another thread I wrote that I must not be gay because I couldn't stand Judy Garland.  Still can't!

That goes double for Vinegar Joan.  However, I did feel sorry for her when Johnny Carson made such an asshole of himself when he turned against her.  I took him off my "Bucket List to Have Sex With" when that happened.

I notice we are trying to leave politics out of this thread and that is good.  However, I failed in not posting to "Sad News" the beheading of those two American journalists.

#239869 what song are you listening to right now?

Has anyone seen "Vicious" on PBS.  It's about two old gays in London who have lived together for some 50 years.  It stars Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Derek Jacobi, both gay in real life.  The supporting actors are great too.  Jacobi's mother has not appeared on camera but she is often on the phone.  She doesn't know he has a flatmate and still expects him to produce grandchildren for her.

It can be watched online at pbs.org/program/vicious.

I'm sure Tchaikovsky would have loved a man playing the lead in Swan Lake.  He was gay before the word had it's current meaning.

Re: the photo above about Hilary as prez would be first time two presidents had sex with each other.

James Buchanan was gay so ..... makes you wonder?  Franklin Pierce came before Buchanan and Lincoln afterward.

There are reports that Lincoln and another young man shared a bed in a boarding house for some time back in Illinois.  Sure, they were just keeping each other warm.  So were the crew of The Big Bang Theory when the power failed.

The eaglet has been determined female because she is a big as her papa and has time for more growing.  Females are larger than males.

She's not flown yet but exercises her wings a lot.  Also her parents are not feeding her well so she will be hungry.  Otherwise she won't want to leave the nest.  Why should she?

47 here in sunny Florida this a.m.  Yes, I know it's worse up Nawth.

One-hundred years ago Mom always had trouble deciding whether to buy Summer or Winter clothes for my sister and me - for our Easter Sunday best,

There is an old wives' tale that our last cold snap comes shortly before Easter and that must be what we're having today.  A few days ago it was 92 in mid-afternoon.

Love and Happy Easter to All Who Celebrate it.  I'm all for the "Disciple that Jesus Loved."
