Ok, lets see if there are any other not afraid of age folks here. One of my favorites when I was little, (yes we had TV then) was "Andys Gang" on Saturday morning with Andy Devine. Then there was Wonderama with Sonny Fox, all on WNEW - Channel 5 out of New York City.

And this is the Wonderama that I remember - hosted by Bob McAllister (famous for the "Snake in a Can" game). Four of the best hours every Sunday morning on Channel 5 - WNEW in New York. He inter-twined all kinds of games, interviews, musical acts (as the one shared with you now), even Looney Toones Cartoons. The kids today just don't know what they're missing.
