The Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 spacecraft were launched 40 years ago this August and September.  According to NASA, the only people able to interact and control the spacecraft these days are those who are familiar with 1970s software and computers :blink2: the technology is so old.  Both spacecraft have expanded our knowledge of the outer planets of the Solar System as well as their respective moons.  The spacecraft were not expected to survive for 40 years; but, scientists now believe that they won't have to turn the spacecraft off until at least 2030 :claps:  :claps:  :claps:  :claps:  :claps:Both craft carry an American flag and a gold record that contains recordings of sounds from Earth.

What an accomplishment NASA :thumbs up:  :thumbs up:  :thumbs up:  :thumbs up:  :thumbs up:  :thumbs up:  :thumbs up:  :thumbs up:  :thumbs up:  :thumbs up:

Maybe he's gay. Maybe he's coming out. Maybe he's getting ready to be in a fabulous drag show and dawning some berries as accessories.

Interesting post Chad.
