#262379 what song are you listening to right now?

^^^Pipes^^^ :love3:

I think she will be one of those artists people remember 40 years down the road.  I re-watched her appearances on America's Got Talent and The Voice Kids this morning.  She just blows me away.  If you haven't heard her rendition of Nutbush City Limits (at twelve years old), it's well worth the watch:

OMG what a cup o' tea. Poor Brett you have been through haven't you? What kind of name is that anyways? Michaelann? First time I've ever heard it.

The nice, little gimbal my neighbor has was $80.

Michaelann? That was a funny for real! :love3:

Can you find out the brand and model of that gimbal for me?

And Michaelann is what you get when you're Irish Catholic and scramble because you were expecting another boy. I never met the parents, they died young, but ALL 4 of the kids are alcoholics/drug abusers, as are 6 of 7 in the next generation. I wouldn't be surprised if the parents were as well. And NONE of them are fun drunks. The youngest is already dead. Fun family, that.

LMBO Well it may be fun to read but it doesn't sound so fun to witness! Ummm, the sloppy drunk bitch from hell I mean.

That was such a fun watch I do like the stick idea! Maybe a handheld gimbal stabilizer that can be used interchangeably. :love3:

I've been looking into gimbals recently!  Pricy little buggers!  I will probably wind up with one, but not for a while.  Will have to get it on a trip back to the USA - electronics/photo equipment/... are expensive here.

The brother-in-law's sister blacked out the last time I let her tag along to Puerto Vallarta.  We were on our way to dinner and she evidently felt the need to slam a couple of margaritas, on top of what she'd already had, on her way back to the room from the beach.  She was fine in the cab, but the minute she got out in the fresh air she was gone.  Wobbly, bouncy, people on the street asking if she needed a doctor gone.  Then she got angry and stormed off.  She had zero cash on her, but somehow made her way back to the room.  That was one of the most frightening days in my life - walking in to see her door wide open and 300 lbs of blinding white Michaelann in a puddle on the bed.  I'd be gay if I wasn't already!  She has a bunch of tattoos, but she's positioned them in places people see.  Everywhere else radiates in searing blindness!

A funny about Michaelann ... she was dating one of her Tinder hookups and got mad when all he got her was a chocolate bar for her birthday.  The guy was into WWII history big time.  I wanted to tell her that's what all the whores got from their GI tricks, but kept my mouth shut.  I just smile every time I remember.  It's the little things, isn't it?  Lol.

#262351 And how was your day???

But I guess I have to learn now to not respond to texts. I had to pick a guy who constantly has his phone with him but doesn't respond when I message him. I'm not dealing with this very well.  :angry2:

Relationships take a LOT of work.  And it takes a while before each of you discovers what is important to the other.  You're just moving from step one (wild passionate sex) to step two (bumping heads, figuring things out).  So you suck it up, do the dance, and after a while you stop stepping on each other's toes.  Just don't wear steel toed boots for a while!

What you need is a drone

I have one!  And I brought it here on my last trip down!  I keep meaning to fly it from my roof :)

AND, I had it in Copper Canyon.  Two things stopped me from using it there - first, and most importantly, there are grow operations everywhere in that area.  A nosey tourist last year was killed in Creel for asking questions about the cartels - I can imagine what they'd do to someone taking pictures of their ops.  Second, for the brief time I had it out, birds attacked.  Drones are supposed to maintain a max of 400 feet altitude above ground (or above what they're flying over), so when you're already WAY up there because you took off from the rim of a canyon, and now birds are attacking, there aren't many places you can go other than back to the ground.

BUT -  there are other, braver souls out there with drones who have done the canyon proud ... and I'm content to have both those videos AND my intact drone :)

Great view, BJ. . .and the music was just perfect  :claps:   :claps:   :claps:

It's got me thinking I need to get a selfie stick for my 360 camera!

When I was there, of course I was the first one across!  I was also first on the zip lines .... I didn't want my forward facing view obstructed!  But there was plenty of room between people.  The sloppy drunk bitch from hell (that's my brother-in-law's sister) behaved herself on that trip until we made our way to Mazatlán.  Then she decided, since she teaches a college medical assisting program, that she knew best and could lay out in the sun drinking margaritas after 3 days of losing every fluid in her body from bad ceviche.  It took several staff members to lift her 300 lbs into the wheelchair and get her back to the room (she refused anything else).

My trips may not always be fun and games .... but they're MEMORABLE!!!!  Lol!

Darn those people who take their videos down!!!  Lol.

If you make the trip to Las Barrancas del Cobre (Copper Canyon), the adventure park in Divisadero has a 7 segment zip line event that also includes two LONG suspension bridges, and some hiking.  My brother-in-law's sister, who went with me, didn't tell me she has a fear of suspension bridges ... awww.  The bridges happen after a couple of the zip lines, so there is no going back!

The adventure park just posted this great 360 of one of them - I think the view looking BACK is the best, but there really isn't a bad viewpoint.

Enjoy!
