Bj1
Love that blast from my past. But misspent youth? I'd like to hear more on this. Are you referring to "wish I had spent more time going for the D?" What era of youth? I wish I'd known much of what I know now back in my youth. I'd have certainly had much more sex! Let's just say that when I was 14 I discovered a whole new world apart from my day-to-day suburban life.

Bj1
I'm going to say I prefer Bonnie Tyler's version; but this comes close. Adam Lambert channeling Boy George .... Get ready!

Smokeshadow
^^What most people tend to forget about that theme song is that both versions were written by John Williams of Star Wars and Indiana Jones movie soundtrack fame
Roamer1
I didn’t know that he had done the “Lost in Space” themes, too.
Bj1
There's an intro to the clip by the conductor that I skipped over when I posted it. I wanted to focus on the music, but it's worth a little listen if you want to move the slider to the left John Williams has his hands in a lot of movie and television pies ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_compositions_by_John_Williams

Smokeshadow
BJ - What would you say is John William's best piece? For me, it's a toss up between the main title from the original Star Wars, the Indiana Jones theme, the Liberty Fanfare that he wrote for the rededication of the Statue of Liberty in 1986 and his Exsultate Justi from Empire of the Sun

Followed very very closely by the Lost In Space theme. Really, that piece is such a genius mish-mash of styles that carries you to the exact place you need to be to watch the show, that it's scary and exciting. And of course, I like his Harry Potter stuff too.
