One of my favorite's to play a grumpy old man. RIP.

 

 

 

 

My favorite was his leading role in Up! I've enjoyed following his career since the very early days. Such a great character actor. From the Fugitive and Mod Squad to MTM, I knew he was an interesting actor. Then I saw the Up movie! Oh wow that is a bittersweet movie! :love3:

Stockwell was only 12 years old when he starred in the 1948 movie The Boy with the Green Hair. He stood up to producer Howard Hughes when Hughes wanted to make the movie's antiwar message more patriotic and America centered, and not so much pacifistic. The director and a number of the crew were blacklisted because of the movies themes.
