Thought I'd take a second and put up a couple of pics from my 2013 Mazatlan trip!

Chicken Vendor: Why does it look like the freezer is unplugged? No wonder Jesus needs to watch over them!

General shot of the Mercado:

I think they made this with habaneros! I should have bought some to-go, it would have killed my cold dead with a couple more servings!:

Great photos Bj.

I would have had to ask this one for some ID.

If he was a day over 18 I'd have put a 20 in his mouth and shoved my thumb up his butt.

Thanks!

So this was the visit I popped my 'eat at the mercado' cherry. The food was good, the prices were crazy low - and I'm sure that hot sauce would burn through a plastic container!

Pastol - here's one for you. Couldn't get a good shot of him without being too obvious though :)

LOVE the pics! The freezer unplugged shot is fucking scary as hell! All those chickens are just laying out there waiting to be bought.

I can just imagine the massive corinary that local health inspectors here in the states would have upon seeing all those chickens laid out in the open like that, especially with no refrigeration (it appears)

Beautiful pictures. The first too are simply amazing in their color and detail. B)

I had similar thoughts about all that meat out in the open like that.

The church is spectacular.

What's your camera... like the panoramic, mine does that I just haven't learned how to do it yet.

More pics please. :waves:

I couldn't tell if he was a DILF (yes, I would), or an older brother/cousin to the kid. He had a really nice body though!

There's ice under the chickens. But it's about 85 - 90 degrees in the market, so unless they're turning those chickens frequently, I don't think I'd want to try my luck by eating one :)

Thanks! For every one of the night shots, I have nine that are blurry - and I was using a tripod :)

The camera is a Sony A65. I only went with Sony because they took over for Minolta and still use the same lens mount. I've got a bunch of Minolta lenses that I can still use. Panoramic mode takes several shots as you move the camera from left to right - then it stitches them together. Could do it in photoshop, but much easier in-camera. Plus, it has an occasional hiccup that comes out funny.

No more pics! You have to go with me next year if you want to see more!

I would want to go to Mexico in the middle of our long cold Ohio winters...lol

When my sister and I went to Oahu in 2008, we went in January to escape winter, mine here in Ohio and hers in New York. One of the days while we were there I called the neighbor lady cause she was watching my house and feeding my cat. She told me in was 72 F that day.

I'm going to Puerto Vallarta in November :) My nephew and his girlfriend are going with - otherwise I'd invite ... B)

The PV timeshare is a floating week - I think I'm either going to try to keep booking November, or try for the week before/after Christmas so I can add a couple of days on at Christmas in Phoenix with my Aunt.

And I've got an every even year use timeshare in South Lake Tahoe. Currently booked for a week in April, 2014 - but my employer shuts down for a week around that time every year - when I find out exactly when that is I might change the reservation so it matches.

I think I'm maxed out on timeshares :)
